Welcome to the Red Lion Lacock

The Red Lion Lacock is a Wadworth Brewery Heritage Pub and offers bed and breakfast accommodation to a superior standard. All rooms are decorated to echo their Georgian past, each with a very different character, yet still offering modern facilities, en-suite washrooms and a relaxing atmosphere.

The Red Lion, with its large open fireplace, flagstone floors and Georgian interior, welcomes visitors to experiance an atmosphere steeped in over 200 years of history.

The bar with its hanging tankards is home to a selection of cask real ales from the wadworth collection and wines from around the world, there is also a large dining area serving good food at both lunch and evening mealtimes. If you are in need of refreshment, relaxation and rest, the Red Lion is a lovely place to spend your days.

The Red Lion is within easy walking distance of the historical Lacock Abbey, the saxon church of St Cyriac, the 15th century tithe barn and plenty of village stores and craft fairs. The Red Lion is an ideal resting point and after a busy day and a peaceful night guests will be welcomed by our full english breakfast.

Lacock, as well as being itself of great interest, is close to many of England's major attractions such as Bath, Bristol, Stonehenge and Avebury. There are rail and bus connections from nearby towns to almost anywhere!
